Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them before using the services provided by Ill Rugs. Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these Terms.

Ill Rugs will be referred to as the "Company," "we," "us" or "Our".

We ask that you abide by the terms and conditions that follow, along with any other terms and conditions that may appear on the Site from time-to-time (collectively, the "Conditions"). Illi Rugs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notification. Site users must agree upon and abide by these changes accordingly.


SITE USE

Unless otherwise noted, all materials, including, but not limited to, images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips, and written and other content that appear as part of the Site (collectively, the "Contents") are copyrights, trademarks, and/or other intellectual properties owned by or licensed to li Rugs. The Contents, and the Site as a whole, are intended solely for personal, non-commercial use by the users of the Site.

This Site or any portion of this Site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the express written consent of Ill Rugs. You may not frame or utilise framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of lIli Rugs without express written consent.


OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

Our shopping pages will guide you through the steps you need to take to place an order with us.

Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order to us.

Please take the time to read and check your order at each page of the order process. 

After you place an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. The Contract between us will only be formed when we send you the order confirmation (Order Confirmation).


Variation in colour and pattern

Please note that while we strive to accurately represent the colours and patterns of our rugs on our website and other promotional materials, variations may occur. As our rugs are handmade, slight deviations in colour and pattern may occur, adding to the uniqueness and charm of each piece.


Size tolerance 

Given the handmade nature of our rugs there may be a slight variation in size of up to 5%. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that your rug is crafted to the exact dimensions specified in your order, this tolerance allows for minor discrepancies that may arise during production.


Handmade craftsmanship

At Illi Rugs, we specialise in crafting made-to-order rugs tailored to your specifications. Due to the bespoke nature of our products, we do not offer exchanges or refunds.


SITE TRANSACTIONS

We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason at any time. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order, whether or not the order has been confirmed, for any or no reason, and without liability to you or anyone else. 

These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account. the same credit card. and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. 

In the event we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. 

We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. Product descriptions or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion.


PAYMENT AND DATA SECURITY

We do not store personal or financial information in the payment process, nor do we share this information with 3rd Parties.

Ili Rugs is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.


INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Ill Rugs, its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and suppliers from and against any and all claims, charges, complaints, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees), arising from or relating in any way to your use of the Site (including negligent or wrongful conduct).


INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

If you order Products from our site for delivery to one of the International Delivery Destinations, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination.

Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.

You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order or email us at info@illirugs.com.

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Products are destined. We will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.


UNPRECEDENTED EVENTS

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control.

An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties (including our suppliers), civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

If an Event Outside Our Control takes place that affects the performance of our obligations under a Contract:

(a) we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to notify you; and

(b) our obligations under a Contract will be suspended and the time for performance of our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control. Where the Event Outside Our Control affects our delivery of Products to you, we will arrange a new delivery date with you after the Event Outside Our Control is over.


RETURNS

In the event of a faulty item, we offer exchanges but do not provide refunds. All rugs are made to order, and we ensure client satisfaction before proceeding with the order. However, if a faulty item is received, the client must notify us within the first 48 hours of receiving the rug to initiate the exchange process.

In the unlikely event that you encounter any issues with your order, our dedicated customer support team is here to assist you. Any disputes or concerns will be handled in accordance with UK consumer laws, with the resolution process taking place within the jurisdiction of the UK.
